i am old!

So, as i mentioned previously, i had my 30th birthday while we were away on honeymoon, and it makes me feel really old to have turned 30. i know loads of people are going to tell me that 30 isn't old at all, but for some reason it seems like i can't possibly be 30 - that's an age that other people reach but not me, and i should stay in my 20's forever.....

Anyway, i had a lovely birthday because Sir organised some spa treatments for me on the ship (a massage and a mud wrap treatment) and we had a delicious meal in the posh Marco Pierre White restaurant in the evening before going to the casino (Poppy was in the night nursery by then) and Sir gave me some money to spend, and i had a great time betting it on the roulette wheel and playing blackjack. Oh, and i got some lovely presents too - including a rose named after me, from Poppy, and a beautiful Tiffany bracelet from Sir.

So happy birthday me, and welcome to the world of the old people!

Happy (belated) birthday!

I'm approaching 30 myself, and there is still a shock of being 30. LOL I imagine I will feel more shocked at 40.

30's young. I turn 41 next month. Now THAT is old. Reminds me... I need to start shopping for a nursing home. Ok, maybe just a nurse.

I know what you mean. I turned 30 this year myself and I need to remind myself now and then that I'm not in my 20's anymore. It does feel strange to be 30...just like said it's age for someone else.. lol

Happy Birthday, btw. Sounds like you had a great time!

thank you, it's lovely to have some new names leaving comments here as well as my loyal followers. my Sir is 43, but that doesn't seem old for some reason - i think it's different for men and also for Doms, not sure why.

A very Happy Birthday xx(belated)

You certainly had a Birthday to remember and with regards to age believe me you are only as old as you feel.

lol! I know what you mean. I was 33 this year and thirty anything still sounds impossibly grown up for the likes of me!

However, I must say I am enjoying (so far) my thirties MUCH more than my 20s - things just seem easier, and calmer, and gentler :D
