Shock

i was visiting some of the blogs in my blogroll today when i came across a very worrying post on one of them. It said that the blog is closed until further notice as somebody had used it to 'out' her to her boss at work and was threatening to out her to the families of the children she works with and to her ex-husband. It made me feel really sick to think that someone would do that, and then i got angry because what right does that person have to stick their nose into someone else's private life. Just because this woman chooses to be a submissive does not make her a bad mother or unfit to work with children, but the way society thinks right now it could jeopardize her job and maybe make her lose custody of her children. i guess it just brought home to me how much i would stand to lose if someone did the same to me - though Sir has taken some precautions against those kinds of things happening. i hope the situation for this person works out OK and she is able to return to blogging because she was one of the best. And i hope that one day we can all be free to be who we want to be in our private lives without being judged by others, and having our jobs and families ripped apart if 'society' finds out :(
